during these chapters katniss has gone through the stages of resenting the mocking jay and then finally realising that its whats she has been the whole time. peeta is in the capital with snow beening punished every time she makes a move, so she has to figure out as well what will been. she is leading the rebelion and showing up on everyones tv whether she is wanted or not. chapters 11-13 (pages 152-191)
Katniss finally realizes that she wants and needs peeta. in the text it says, "i am buttercup. crazy cat becomes a metaphor for my situtation. i am butter cup. peeta,the thing i want so badly to secure."snow is using peeta against katniss but he still fights to protect her and his warning about the bombing probbly saved alot of lives. peeta is back but not the same, the first time he sees her he chokes her.(1068) -
chaptes 14-16 (pages 192-217)
Katniss is in district 2 and they are trying to take down the hut. gale comes up with the idea to cause it to collapse and to blow up the exits so that know one can escape. katniss doe not want people to die because of this and when it is all happning she realizes she is the one that has to stop it. when she goes out to help the wounded man and tell everyone that they are not the enemy, that the capital is the enemy he shoots her.(1093) -
chapters 16- 18 (pages 218- 245)
Katniss dreams about peeta and how he said he would always be with her. when she finally wakes up johanna mason is there. people that are fit for war will be going to the capital and katnis and johanna are determined to make it so that start tranning. they motatvate each and end up being allies. peeta is let out and he goes to have lunch with them. he and katniss still arent getting along so she and gale leave. when johanna get back she tells her about how gale lost it and agued with himself. -
chapters 18-22 (pages 246-304)
they are all on the train to the capitals. she is trying to figure out a plan of her own so that she can leave the star soldier behind and fight like everyone else. she ends up going with them through the mines. peeta had attacked her again but he is under control now. they have a lead on the capital so they stop to rest. she here her name being called and peeta then startes calling it to. he stops and tells them they have to go and that the mutts are after katniss. -
chapters 22-26 pages 304 - 358
in these chapters katniss gets to the capital. her sister has died from the bombing. coin wants then to have one last hungergame for the people the capital. for the exicution of snow she has get bow ready but she deisides to kill coin.she realizes that coin isn't the good person she wants purple to think she is . -
chapters 26-end paged 359-388
she izs back at 12 alone in her big house. her mom formed a job helping people make a hospital. gale found a job in 2. she id home when peeta gets back and is planting prim rose around the house. she burns the rose thst snow left at her house.I the end peeta and katniss fall back I love and even have kids!
