Once the US entered the war, thousands of men needed training camps to receive military training. There were so many Military Bases in the US especially South Carolina. This was a high because more men were able to train to enter the military and have more men in the war. -

The sinking of the Lusitania was caused by a German U-Boat on May 7, 1915. This event was the official date the United States actively entered World War 1. This was a low because a lot of people passed away and it marked the entry of the US in World War 1. -
Revival of Ku Klux Klan
Even though the Ku Klux Klan activity declined after Reconstruction, it came back in the 1920's. As well as being revived, the group was quite popular in the US because of all the uncertainty people had against others. This was a low because of all the violence caused by the KKK to other people. -
Great Depression
During the 1920's, pries for agriculture in the US came to ridiculously low prices. Farmers struggled to make profit and support their families. This was a low because of all the suffering people endured during the time. -
New Deal
FDR proposed something to the US that changed history, the New Deal! The New Deal gave jobs to people struggling all over the US because of the Great Depression. This was a high because it gave people a new opportunity for work after the Great Depression. -
Return of Economic Prosperity
In 1939, economic prosperity came back to the US after the long dreaded Great Depression. Prices for agriculture raised as well as income for farmers and much more! This was a high because people could have peace again with the economy! People had a new light now.
