Lewis and clark first start their expedition
This expedition started in 1803 on May 3rd. Lewis and Clark were going out to see the new land and ppotentially discover new species and animals. This expedition would be the result in a movment out west. Thousands of americans would travel out west into new terrioty that the expedition led out to. -

The Californios had given america a small portion of land and then the Americans tried to take over but lost agaisnt the Californios. It showed how greedy America was in the taking of land back in the 1800. The land is now part of America. -

Lincoln's Assasination
This was the day that our 16th president was assasinated at Ford's theatre. Lincoln was killed by John Wilks Booth in a stand above the crowd. This was a major loss to the Northerners, Lincoln was their idol and had major plans for the Civil Rights of Blacks. -

A stock market crash is a sudden dramatic decline of stock prices across a significant cross-section of a stock market, resulting in a significant loss of paper wealth.
