Callie arrives home
After her cross country meet, she goes home. No one is there but herself, she saw a blade on the table and decides to cut herself. -
Sea Pines
The residential treatment facility, was where Callie called home. Her parents and doctor put her there after finding out that she cuts herself. -
Visiting Day
Callie's younger brother, and mother visit her at the treatment facility. Callie was waiting for her dad to arrive but, he never can he's too busy working. -

Callie and her friends
Callie has friends that she sits with at lunch every day. Her closest friend is Sydney whom she shares a room with then there's Becca, Tara, and Debbie. -
Ruth
Callie has a person that escorts her around. Although Ruth doesn't stay for long. -
Sam
Callie finds out that her brother Sam doesn't go to school, and she figures that her mom is going through a rough time. Since her dad also works more often. -
Lunch
Callie descriibes what lunch is like. There are four basic food groups that they usually get and when it comes to eating they aren't allowed to eat with forks and knives because they're sharp. -
Callie has to do laundry
Every few days Callie does her laundry and when she does she has to have someone escort her to the laundry room to do laundry, that way Callie doesn't have the chance to harm herself. -
A rough night
Callie describes the nights at Sick Minds. She says there are always girls sobbing, crying and moaning at night and since there aren't doors for any of the rooms the sobs travel through the halls making it hard to sleep. -

Took it the wrong way
Callie explains to her counselor that she used to feel like she bothered her family whenever she was home. That is why she stayed in her room most of the time. Her counselor takes it as if her mother just wants to be alone with Sam, Callies brother. -
Silent treatment
Callie rarely speaks to anybody where she stays. She barely talks to her counselor. She constantly blames herself for family problems. The way her parents are with eachother and the reason why her brother has asthma. -
Cuts again
Callie is able to sneak sharp things and cut again. But this time it is because she looks at herself with disgust. -
Callies counselor
Calle seems to get a little better and begins talking to her counselor more and tell her more stuff. She responds to some things that her counselor asks her. -
One night
One night, Callie cut herself with a piece of metal and she was bleeding heavily. She went to Rubys desk and Ruby cleaned her blood up for her. -
Suprise
Callie recieves a letter from her mother that tells her to get well soon. That's not all, she also recieved a hockey card from her brother Sam. -
Sam and Callie
Callie and Sam set up a table hockey game. And Callie said she got very mad at Sam because he didn't do it right. Callie was mentioning this to her counselor. Then she said that he had to go to the hospital afterwards but before making things awkward Callie changes the subject. -
Feelings about Beccas actions
Claire talks to the group of girls and wants them each to explain how they feel about Becca's actions. -
Everything is my "fault"
Since Debbie thinks it's her fault that Becca is in the infirmary, Callie thinks it isn't and she also feels like everything is her fault. -
Callies Personality
Throughout her stay, Callie's personality has changed. She was very quiet and they called her silent treatment because she never spoke. Callie became more open with the people who surrounded her and her counselor. -
Becca gets ill
During lunch all the girls sit by eachother and they ask Debbie where Becca was, (the girl who was anorexic and very skinny). And after Callie finds out that Becca has been having irregular heartbeats because shes been dehydrated and Callie was explaining this to her counselor. -
Beccas back
After awhile, Becca finally returns and she is still in the group. Although everyone at the table tells Becca that they're disppointed in her and she goes back to the infirmary. -
Tiffany leaves
Tiffany has to leave since she no longer has insurance to stay there in which their group only includes 5 people now.
