after getting busted at school with some silent sam crabbe decides that it's time for him to put his paln into the final stage and run away .

crabbe has just hid his car and is now crossing ithaca lake so he can get away from everybody.

during the night while sleeping in his tent he hears something outside . he than starts to get a little scared , than a bear attacks him

while on his adventure crabbe fell over a waterfall and almost died

after falling over the waterfall crabbe was saved by mary , who also has run away

after living with mary in the woods for a little over a month she teachs crabbe how to follow a compass and read a map
-
mary gives crabbe a big test . she leaves him in a part of the woods and tells him to follow the compass to a location

since there isn't enough food crabbe and mary go on a raid to a hunting camp to get some food for the window

during the raid at the hunting camp , crabbe didn't see the hunters dog and the dog sniffs out mary and she is captured by the hunters

after mary is captured by the hunters crabbe creates a plan on how to save her and it invloves peper , some steaks , and setting the food cabin on fire

after escaping the hunters mary and crabbe rest on a rock ledge for the night and both go to gather some fire wood and mary falls off the cliff and dies

after returning to the camp crabbe decides to look through mary's mystery bag and finds out mary's past

since there is nothing left for him in the woods and the winter fast approaching crabbe begins his journy back to the city

on his way back to the city crabbe gets stuck in a blizzard and has to hole down for a few days in order in wait out the blizzard

after waiting out the blizzard crabbe coutinues his mission back and finds a cabin where he stays for the a few days to rest and get warm

from not properly covering his hands crabbe gets forst bite on his left hand and gets brought to the hospital

after leaving the hospital crabbe deicdes to go back to his parents house
