    Leonardo da Vinci drew sketches of flying machines, helicopters, the first mechanical calculator, and programmable robots. This is important because Leonardo's drawings could have been a start and given us ideas to flying cars, helicopters, and robots.

    Charles Xavier Thomas de Colmar created the first mass-produced calculator called The Arithmometer This is important because we could then use his calculator to help with math and advance in calculators.

    The morse code was invented by Samuel Morse. This is important because the morse code was widely used and helped us to communicate very well.

    George Boole invented Boolean Algebra. This is important because Boolean Algebra gave us more advanced rules to use in math.

    I chose this because a counting machine probably became very helpful and widely used.

    Konrad Zuse made the first useable computer to be programable. I think this is important because after computers were made programable many other discoveries were made too through technology.

    John Backus and IBM created the first programming language. It was a very high level programming language too. This is important because the language could be used by many people and was a high level of language so it would be impressive.

    The first compuer game was invented by Steve Russel & MIT. I chose this because video games are a lot of fun and this was the start of the creation of computer games.

    Word Processors were invented by Seymour Rubenstein and Rob Barnaby. This is important because Word Processors give us the ability to type on a page document and ones writings can become virtual.

  • Apple Macintosh Computer

    This was a more affordable home computer with a GUI. This is important because people who wanted a good quality computer for a good price could now do so. The business made a profit too.
