In a secret attempt to overthrow Fidel Castro run Cuba, the US sent a force of trained Cuban exiles to the "Bay of Pigs". They had a plan to arouse the Cuban population in rebellion against Castro. Unfortunately, it completely failed.

As tension between the US and the Soviet Union escalated, US intelligence noticed the construction of missile silos in Cuba. The White House, fearing the Soviets may be planning an offensive began to stress out. Both sides were very close to nuclear war, but thankfully they withdrew.
