    The day after the 18 June 1948, soviet grads halted trains and road travel into the western owned side of Berlin, this resulted in the west using an airlift to get fuel and supplies in. this airlift was from a few countries from that side and not just one. I think Stalin did this to get control of that side of Berlin

    The North Atlantic Treaty Organization, or NATO is a treaty that says, if one of us is attacked we all will respond. This was founded in the cold war, and its Russian counterpart is the Warsaw pact.it it was sighed on the 4th April 1949. It is run by people from 28 member states.

    On June 20 1963, the us and U.S.S.R set up a hot line between there leaders. This was to improve communication, to resolve a problem. This occurred after the Cuban missile crisis in case of another event like tithe location of this is the offices of the leaders.
