He ended up over throwing the government and made Russia Communist.     The Berlin lift was a result of the Soviets trying to take over Berlin. The Soviets turned off all power to the countries 324 days. America flew 2 million tons a supplies everyday. America didn’t fight back but instead decided that it would be better to supply West Berlin with stuff they needed to stand there ground. It was a major win in the Cold War.
