Introduction of Classicism

The idea of classicism was known from as far back as the four hundreds, through the extant aesthetic, philosophical, historical, and political writings. An example of this work included the writings of Plato and Aristotle (fifth and fourth centuries B.C.E). During this period of time, Greece had waged war with Persia causing the Persian King to retreat.
