This was all part of there plan to cut of the trade between the confederacy.

    John Wilkes booth was murdered 12 days after killing Abraham Lincoln. Union soldiers had tracked him down after hiding in a farm in Virginia. A man named Richman Garret kept booth in his house. The house was lit on fire, after booth refused to get out the union managed to shoot him inside.
