The troops marched from Atlanta and then captured the port of Savannah. -

Shermans Union captured Savannah. The Union marched toward Georgia destroying everything that could help the south. -
Union Army moves in and occupies Richmond, VA.
When the north was about to caputure RIchmond the general moved their offices to Lynchburg for 5 days. Richmon was the Capital of the south and thats where everything was. -
Robert E Lee surrenders
It is the Battle of Appomattox. The Union won because the south surrendered. -
Abraham shot and killed
John Booth assasinated Lincoln during a play type event.
