    Martin Luther King made a noble decision to join the reverend Fred Shuttlesworth in a civil rights campaign, King was arrested and put in jail for about a week.

    This march for freedom of people of color was an eye opener for Kennedy. It put all the pressure on him to create a stronger and more stable law encouraging their rights.
