    The history of Paleo toward the end of the ice age in the Late Pleistocene Epoch. The initial human settlement of Georgia took place during one the most dramatic periods of climate change.

    The archaic period of Georgia prehistory lasted from about 8000 to 1000 years ago.The territory of an early archaic band in Georgia was not very large, although a few archaeologists,believe it may have coincided with river valleys

    Woodland

    Did u know that the woodland period of time was broadly date around 1000 B.C to A.C 900.The late woodland subperiod,A.D 600-900 is prehaps the mostly poorly understood portion of Georgia prehistory.

    Mississippian

    Corn,beans, squashy,sunflowers,goose foot,sumpuieed,and other plants were cultuivcted. They also ate wild plants and animals,athering nuts and fruits and hunting such as deer, turkeys,and other small animals.
