    The Treaty of Versailles was a peace treaty that was signed on June 28th 1919. It was signed between Germany and the Allies to end the state of war between them. Furthermore, the reason it led to World War 2 was because the reparations placed on Germany were too much of a burden to withstand. This led to the Germans being humiliated and having a yearning for revenge. This revenge came in the form of World War 2. Therefore, the Treaty of Versailes led to World War 2

    The Economic Depression of Germany
    Germany had to pay $30 billion in war damages, this reparation resulted in hyperinflation. Moreover, the worst inflation came on December 1923, as the exchange rate was 4,200,000,000,000 Marks to 1 US dollar.Furthermore, many middle class families were forced onto the streets and all of them were looking for solution to their misery. This inevitably, led to the rise of Adolf Hitler, as he showed them a way out of their misery.Therefore the ecominc depression of Germany led to World War 2

    The arrival of German troops into the Rhineland
    Adolf Hitler took a huge gamble and sent troops into the Rhineland and his gamble paid off as over 32,000 soldiers crossed into the Rhineland, and no action was taken against him. Moreover, this event led to World War 2 because it made Hitler very popular in Germany, as he fulfilled one of his election promises, which was to get back some German land. Furthermore, this event gave Hitler the impression that he could do whatever he pleased,Therefore, the Rhineland incident led to World War 2.

    Hitler invaded the rest of Czechoslovakia, which was against the Munich agreement. The Munich agreement stated that Hitler could only take the Sudetenland region of Czechoslovakia. Moreover, Hitler was really pushing his luck at this point because he thought that Britain and France would never do anything.If Britain and France had done something, Hitler might not have been so confident to invaded Poland and World War 2 might not have occurred. Therfore, this event led to World War 2.

    The signing of a non-aggressive pact between Germany and the Soviet Union
    Hitler made a pact with the Soviet Union which basically stated that Germany and the Soviet Union would not attack each other. Furthermore, Hitler made this pact because he wanted to avoid war on two fronts, which shows that he was preparing for war and he knew that war would be difficult on two fronts. This pact paved the way for Hitler’s invasion of Poland because he knew he couldn’t attack without an attack from the Soviet Union, unless he made a pact. Therefore this event led to World War 2.

    Germany’s invasion of Poland is arguably the most important cause of World War 2. Moreover, Britain/France had an alliance with Poland, so if Poland was attacked Britain/France would have to protect her. This event triggered World War 2 because Britain/France declared war on Germany. Germany continued to invade several European nations and World War 2 had commenced. If Germany didn’t invade Poland, then Britain/France may have never declared war on her. Therefore, this event led to World War 2.
