Powell and Herold went to Seward's house to kill him. Herold stayed outside and held the horses while Powell went in. Powell fought Seward's son and Sergeant Robinson. He stabbed Sweart in the face but didn't kill hm. Herold left when Franny started screamng out the window for help.

Atzerodt was suppose to kill the vice president. He could not do it though. He went to the hotel lobby and drank.He abanoned his mission.

Herold and Booth were at Mudd's farm. Mudd was a Dr. and helped Booth with his broke leg. They stayed at his house for the night.

Thomas Jones got food and a nrespaper to take to Booth and Herold. They stayed in a pine thicket for the night. Union troops rode in their direction but never went to them.

The cavalry went to Mudd's farm to see about the two strangers who stopped there. Dr. Mudd told the cavalry a lie about where they went.

President Lincoln had his funeral. It was the most solemn day in history with a president's funeral.Thousands of people came to watch it. He was carried by a carriage and six white horses.

Twwo teams of detectives were planning a raid that would take Atzerodt. He stayed the last four nights at his cousin's house.

Booth and Herold went the wrong way and ened up in Maryland. They stayed there instead of chancing getting caught while going to Herold's friend.

Booth and HErold got back in the boat and headed the right way to Virginia.

They made it to Virginia. Herold walked to Mrs. Quesenberry's house to get a horse to ride but got a carriage instead so it would be easier for Booth to be transported.

Booth went to the Garrett's farm and stayed the night there. Herold went to a near by town to purchase new pair of shoes.

Luke Barker spotted William Rollins the one who gave the ferry ride to Booth and Herold.He told them the soldiers he was with and it was a person with a broken leg.

They stayed in the barn and the cavalry came to get them. Booth would not surrender without a fight ,but Herold gave himself up. Booth got shot in the neck and died shortly later.

There was a death warrants for Mary Surratt ,David Herold, George Atzerodt And Lewis Powell.

They all got hung for being part of the killings.
