  • Beagle voyage

    In December 1832 Charles Darwin set sail with the Beagle Voyage to mostly discover new lands and oceans that have not been explored and to also explore the coast of South America.
  • Galapagos landing

    September 1835 marked an important moment in Charles Darwin's life as he explored the Galapagos islands and found new plant and animal species that had different behavior and traits for survival this eventually inspired what he would write in his controversial yet highly praised book "the origin of species".
