  • Spencers thought on Evolution.

    Spencers thought on Evolution.
Herbert spencer first published his paper "Progress: its law and cause." to the Westminister review. It later became famous for his Idea that Everyone started out simple and as nothing, he expounded his Theory of Evolution in his paper which was found to have some information out of Samuel Taylor Coleridge's paper. While Herbert thought eveything began as simple he also believed they came from undifferentiated, homogeneity to a complex, differentiated, heterogeneity, while being accompanied ->

by a process of greater integration of the differentiated parts. Pretty much saying you start simple and then you change into a complex, useful human being. Spencer contributed to Evolution by his Theory on Evolution, had he not submitted that paper into the Westminister Review nobody would ever had known his helpful theory. His theory impacted a later scientist (Darwin) who was believed to insight some of Herberts theory into his. As an example on how his Theory has impacted today life->

, the flower would be a great one. We all know that a flower grows from a seed and continues to grow unless we dont take care of it. Thats how we are, if humans aren't taken care of properly they could wither away and die, so we can compare Spencers theory to Evolution much easier due to that .

    Dobzhansky studies butterflies? Beetles?
For most of Dobzhanskys high school career he decided he wanted to becomea biologist by collecting butterflies and studying them. By 1915 he met Victor Luchnik who introduced him into studying beetles which he found more to his liking.

  • genetics and evolution

    genetics and evolution
Ronald Fisher showed that discontinuous inheritance, continuous variation and gradual and continuous evolution were not only not mutually exclusive, but that this combination was, in fact, how things had to be. He believed that this theory could not be explained, but understood. Fisher contributed to evolution by his novels (other dates) and public information. His theory of the theory we all have heard about evolution is not real. He says that evolution is just continous and ongoing which I do

believe myself rather than others. the common belief though is that evolution is just change and we all are changing at a fast rate. So his theory would probably not go good with modern scientist.

Dobzhansky was credited for studying the Furit flies in population cages, he discovered that flies in the same

  • Dobzhansky's theory on Evolution

    Dobzhansky's theory on Evolution
He defined Evolution as "A change in the frequency of an allele in a gene pool", also saying that through the mutation of genes that natural selection occurs. This has impacted todays Theory on Evolution by saying that because of the frequency of an allele in a gene pool mean the pace of evolution, or how fast we change. The more frequent the allele is, is the faster we change or evolve. He has contributed to the Evolution Theory with his books and public information of essays and findings.

  • Gould's Theory to Evolution (No exact date)

Gould's Theory to Evolution (No exact date)
Gould's theory is 'puncuated equillibrium'. Punctuated equillibrium is something Gould and Niles Eldredge developed together. Punctuated Equillibrium means that there is rapid change in evolutionary changes, with longer periods of relatively stability. He also stated that Evolution is 'a ladder progress', it is on going and will never end. He says that humankind will only get more complex and smart. We also are envolved in adaptive evolution, we adapt to what fits our needs and what satisfys us.
  • Gould's theory to evolution (continued)

    Gould's theory to evolution (continued)
Gould's contribution to evolution would be his novels and theories. One novel would be ontogeny and phylogeny by himself. He contributed with his theory of 'ladder of progress' , and punctauted equillibrium. His theory compared to our evolutionary thoughts today are pretty close. If you think about it, there is a pretty long stand still of humankind. take the 1900's until today so much has changed but were pretty much at a stand still, we can expect to see a cellphone is everyones hands, people
