In the middle of the 19th century he published the Origin of Species, a revolution involving all realms of knowledge. July of 1839 he first opened a notebook to the Origin of Species and it did not cease for the next twenty years. On January 29,1839 Charles married Emma Darwin and began his biggest contribution to the philosophy of science. He completed the Copernican revolution by drawing out for biology of notion of nature as a system of matter in motion governed by natural laws. -

Died at age 73 on April 19, 1882.
