In the middle of the night there was a fire that burnt down hundreds of houses including Lady Semour's where Isabel had to rescue Lady Seymour from the fire.

Because the fire had burnt down many houses in which British generals lived in, the Locktons had more generals and their wife move in with them.

Curzon is captured when defending a fort and is taken to a prison with many other soldiers.

Isabel visits Curzon in the prison and brings food for him and the other soldiers.

Isabel and Curzon run away to New Jersey.

As Madam Lockton was yelling, she told Isabel that Ruth was not sold and in Charleston, NC.

Isabel pretends to do work for the prison, but instead she escapes Curzon from prison.
