  • First television

American inventor Philo Taylor Farnsworth, aged 21, managed to create the first electronic television in black and white.
  • 60's - Color TV

There were some successes in the programming of the first color television, but the passage of users to these televisions was slow. Many had already invested in black and white televisions, and over time the engineers were improving color technology. Finally, the full-color films reached a sufficient quality to reach the public, who began to buy color TVs in the sixties. Thanks to this new color world, you could enjoy a more realistic experience.
  • 70´s – VHS

Until the 70s you could not choose what to see or when to see it, but the VHS (Video Home System) opened the doors to the world of on-demand content. Through the cassette tapes, the VHS players allowed the viewer to take control of their television. Thus, film fans could watch their favorite movies as many times as they wanted.
  • 90´s – DVD

Being smaller and lighter than its predecessor, the arrival of the DVD involved the disappearance of VHS. The DVD, which brought us better images, sound quality and storage capacity, was a success that immediately replaced our VHS collections. Now there are UHD Premium Blu-ray players that offer us the best experience.
  • Led TVs

Until LED TVs (Light Emitting Diode) arrived, the screens used much more complicated methods. It started with the cathode ray tubes and with the successive advances many layers and backlighting were needed, until the LCD screens (Liquid Crystal Display) were reached.
  • Smart TV

Although Samsung's first Smart TV models allowed users to access Internet information and share photos, it was the inclusion of on-demand content that made Smart TV the core of the room. Now, not having to connect your laptop to the TV with a cable, watching the latest programs and releases in seconds is easy.
  • UHD 4K

When 4K TVs hit the market, the public began to have access to film quality from the comfort of the home sofa. UHD (Ultra High Definition) 4K has four times more pixels than normal Full HD, so it offers an image with extraordinary details. As soon as the 4K resolution was created, 4K content began to be produced. The latest movies and the most addictive programs began to be recorded in UHD 4K, allowing viewers to see more of each scene.
  • Quantum points and HDR

After the gigantic change in the sharpness of the image of 2011, came a great improvement in color and brightness. Quantum dots are tiny particles responsible for the precision of the color and can generate an extraordinarily pure light. When combined with the brightness of the HDR (High Dynamic Range) content, they allow you to enjoy a much clearer and brighter image. Samsung TVs that feature this technology allow you to see more details in each scene.
  • 100% color volume

Samsung's QLED TVs have more than one billion colors. The unparalleled light source extends the color spectrum to achieve a color volume of 100%. This injection of color in movies, programs and even games allows us to offer an experience that is getting closer to real life.
