    The Treaty of Versailles is Signed
    To officially end the First World War, the Treaty of Versailles was signed by Germany and its allied powers Britain, Italy, Russia and France and was effective starting January 10, 1920. Though the Germans had almost no participation in creating the treaty, they still agreed to pay for the reparations, but did not last long as the Germans cancelled the plan in 1932 by Adolf Hitler.

    Adolf Hitler joins the German Workers' Party
    Not too long after World War I ended, Adolf Hitler became the 7th member of the small political group "German Workers' Party." Founded by Anton Dexter and journalist Dietrich Eckhart, the Party had its first meeting on February 20th 2920, and officially changed their name not too long after, In April of the same year, to "National Socialist German Workers' Party." The group is more commonly known as the "Nazi Party"

    A date that would change the course of the World and still affects us now, through his "magnetic personality," Hitler accepted the position of being the chairperson. In his speech he mentioned,
    "I make these demands not because I'm power-hungry, but because recent events have more than convinced me that without an iron leadership in the party... will within a short time cease to be what it was supposed to be: a national socialist German Workers Party"
  • Mussolini leads the March on Rome with Fascists

    Benito Mussolini, one of the most memorable fascist dictators in the 20th century, along with his fascists, planned the March on Rome as a threat to the Government of Italy to elect them in a position in the Government. Though not as orderly as planned, Mussolini became the youngest prime minister of Italy, through a dispatched telegram from the King.

    Hitler and the Nazis attempt to Seize Power

    During the Beer Hall Putsch, Hitler and the Nazis attempted to take over the government of Bavaria, in the South of Germany, but failed. This was one of Hitler's unsuccessful plans in the beginning of his leadership. After the failed attempt, Hitler was arrested for treason and was sentenced to five years in prison, though he was released less than a year after the incident.

    Kelog-Briand Pact is Signed
    Sometimes referred to as the Pact of Paris as Paris was the location where it was signed, fifteen nations, including Canada, Australia and Poland, signed the agreement to outlaw war, in order to prevent another World War after learning about the major losses during the First World War. This pact, unfortunately, was not effective enough to prevent another World War.

    The start of Hitler's drastic rise in power. President Paul von Hindenburg announces as Hitler the new chancellor of Germany. Hitler's success increasily grows, winning over 230 positions in the Government in 1933.

    After the death of President Paul von Hindenburg, Hitler announces himself as Germany's Fuhrer, declaring that he is now Leader of the country. The German military took oath before their Commander-in-Chief and the government was dismantles to make a path for the Third Reich.

    The Nazi party announced new laws for Germany, targeting the Jews. It stated that German Jews were excluded from the Reich citizenship and were prohibited from marrying those who were of German decent.

    Mussolini, who had agreed with Hitler's policy to invade any country or territory he considers German, decided to invade Abyssinia, now called Ethiopia. Mussolini had decided this invasion to be able to expand Germany's territories.

The end of the war resulted in Nationalist's victory, as well as the end of the Second Spanish Republic and the establishment of Francoist Spain.

Until the present day, the Munich Agreement is known as one of the most famous failed acts of appeasement towards Germany.

    A sign that the appeasement at Munich was nothing but a pure lie to Hitler. On the morning of the 15th of March, German soldiers are witnessed marching into the streets of Czechoslovakia. Fear overcame the citizens of Czechoslovakia and submitted to Nazi Germany. Soon after, Britain's prime minister Neville Chamberlain announced that, if Hitler were to decide to invade Poland, Britain would defend Poland, abandoning Nazi Germany.
