    At a meeting of FBI agents Cross announces that he and Craig beileve that Pierce is Mr. Smith. He says that there have been clues all along and they just haven't seen them. He also had Craig exaggerate his condition so Pierce would be in charge of the case and Craig could gather evidence against him on the side.
