  • Navagation acts

    Goods produced by the colonies and were to be only carried out by British crews. Patriots thought this was tryranous.
  • Sugar Act

    To lower England's national deubt. Placed tax on sugar and molasses imported into colonies. Colonists reacted by boycotting luxury items.
  • Stamp Act

    A new tax was imposed on American Colonists. Newspapers, printed paper and even playing cards were taxed.
  • Quartering Act

    When the Colonists had to let British soldier's into their house and house them and feed them. Colonist's did not having soldiers in their house.
  • Declaratory Act

    Declares sovereignty over the colonies in America, impose taxes to make money. They were not happy because they tried to impose taxes.
  • Townshed Act

    Many Merchants boycotted the British Goods. Protest became violent. Colonists were upset because due to having no representation in parlament.
  • Tea Act

    Sparked a revolutionary movement in Boston . Imposed no new taxes. Intented to raise revenue
  • Coercive Act

    (Boston Port Act) Passed in response of the Boston Tea Party. Quartering Act of 1774. Colonists viewed this as a violation of rights.
  • Quebec Act

    One of the Intalbrable Acts. Colonists responded to have a rebellion in Massachetts and isolate them.
