This was a political protest by the Sons of Liberty on December 17, 1773. They were disguised as American Indians. They were rebeling against the Tea Act which taxed all tea products. They boarded ships and threw barrels of tea into Boston Harbor. This was one of the first events that led to America's Independence.

The thirteen colonies adopted this document in July 4, 1776. They declared they wanted freedom from Great Britian and all their rules. War was declared and the colonies wanted their freedom.

This song was written by the Buggles in 1980. This song showed how many people had mixed emotions about the 20th centuray and its new inventions. There is a clear connection between this song and Mtv as mtv is all about music videos.

The purpose of mtv origanaly was to be playing music videos 24 hours a day. They wanted to revolutionize music one of their slogans was, "You will never look at music the same." Mtv today me be full of reality tv shows but, without its original purpose music wouldnt be what it is today.
