    Rosa Parks

    Rosa Parks was an american civil rights movement activist. She was born on February 4, 1913 to a Leona and James McCauley. When her parents got divorced she went to live on a farm with her grandparents. On December 21,1959 when Rosa Parks was coming home work, a white passenger approached her to give up her seat but Rosa wouldn’t budge. She was then later arrested shortly after. Rosa Parks was one of the many african americans to refuse to obey orders from the law.

    Malcolm X

    Malcolm X born, Malcolm Little was born on May 19,1925 to Louise Norton and Earl Little. In 1946 he was arrested and convicted of burglary charges, Malcolm was sentenced to 10 years in prison. After being released of prison, Malcolm began to study the teachings of NOI leader Elijah Muhammad. The crowds and controversy surrounding Malcolm made him a media magnet. On February 21, 1965 Malcolm was shot 15 times, the 39 year old was pronounced dead leaving his wife and five children behind.
