    French And Indian War
    The French And Indian War between Britain and France in the Americas that happened till 1763 and it was part of a global war called the Seven Years' War. This War drained the British Treasury then King George III and his advisors thought that the colonists should help pay for these wars. Then the Parliament passed Stamp Act and it angered the colonists.

    The Parliament passed the Sugar Act and the Stamp Act was passed to increase taxes paid by colonies. Colonists had a strong belief that they should have not been taxed. Then the parliament revoked the Sugar Act. And the Declaratory Act that was passed to have complete control over colonists.

    In Boston a Massacre happened in 1770 , and this massacre killed about 5 people because they were protesting. And what is known as the Boston Tea Party today and this was because they wanted to protest taxes on tea. The effect of all this is that laws were passed to punish Massachusetts and other people that did not agree.

    The Framers of the Constitution were influenced by Locke, Montesquieu, Rousseau. They had a seperation powers called legislative, executive, and judicial branches. The Bill of Rights were the first 10 laws of the United States that we have to abide by and this became what America had to follow.
