Sethe saw the Schoolteacher and his gang coming so she took her kids and went to the shed. There, Sethe tried to kill her kids with a saw before they could ever go back to living life in the plantation. Beloved dies but the rest of the kids are now terrified of her. Sethe went to jail. -

The first time the baby spirit appears was when Sethe heard a baby ghost climbing the stairs. Her deafness was caused by people asking Denver whether her mom was a murderer. -

Beloved keeps seeing Paul D in the outer house. Paul D planned to tell Sethe but when they met, Paul D asks her to have a kid with him. -

Paul D and Sethe fights about Beloved. Paul D's anger causes him to tell the real truth about why Halle never met her to escape together as planned. Halle was actually there when Sethe was raped by Schoolteacher and his nephew. -

Beloved drains Sethe's life. Sethe is arriving to her work late each day until she finally got fired. Without her work, Sethe can't get food. Slowly, Sethe turns into Beloved and vice versa. They argue everyday and Denver is scared Beloved might kill Sethe. -

Denver's worries lead her to ask for help to Lady Jones. Lady Jones told the church and people left food for them on their porch. Denver begans to familiarize herself with the community. -

Ella and the other women gather to march to 124 and exorcise Beloved. When Sethe and Beloved comes out of the house, Sethe sees Mr Bodwin and mistaks him as Schoolteacher. -

Paul D comes back to tell Sethe that he will help Denver take care of her. -
