    Wasily de Basil & Rene Blum gave Ballet Russe a new name: Ballet Russe de Monte-Carlo. This then allowed and help Diaghliev's former friend/choregrapher, Geoge Balanchie, become a dancing master at the brand new Ballet Russe.

    Wasily de Basil and Rene Blum fought over certain aspects of their company which led to Blim leaving. After this Massine and Basil had legal issues about the company which this then led into, two different companies. Both companies made their debut in London.

    Britain and France had declared war upon Germany in WW II. This shocked many, and brought fear onto the Russians due to them not having the right papers to be able to leave the country. Eventually both companies were able to get a ride back America in peace.

    Ballet made its way into broadway and was then choreographed by George Balanchine. Once he had left the Ballet Russe he started making his way into film and around broadway.

    Brasil and Hurok trid creating another tour to America but failed. All the dancers at the time had come across much better opportunities. Also Brasil tried hiring new dancers, but they weren't the same as his old ones, which did some damage to his company. November was their last performance.
