    At this point babies are able to respond to sounds, understand several words, point to objects with their index finger, & wave bye. Etc .. Alot of them will gain an attachment to a toy they like or an object. Also, they gain object constancy, which is being able to understand that if you hide a toy it's still there except that it's only temporarily gone

    At this age babies can walk already. They are learning how to walk a little faster, not slowly anymore. They run stiffly, jump, and can smoothly throw things. They can also squat down now.

    At this point a babies memory is way better developed. They can remember where things are located now. Babies are more curious about everything. Also, they have a short attention span.

    At this age babies enjoy running, jumping, and climbing. They are able to walk both sideways and backwards,they run and don't fall, and they walk up and down stairs without help!

    At this point babies will find interest in the littlest things they see, for example they'll find looking at themselves in a mirror so fascinating. They are able to remember objects without you having to show them. Also they like drawing random marks on paper with crayons.

    Babies are able to throw a ball over their head instead of tossing it. They get stronger legs, stronger arms. They will bounce and sway in very simple dancing movements. It is going to be difficult still at this point to stop immediatly while they are running.

    At this point babies will follow simple directions. They become more easy. But, they are still very curious about the environment they're in.. so, yeah. If you play a game with them, they are going to be more interested in the outcome of the game then the game itself now..

    At this point they can recongize familiar signs in the environment. They like to imitate other people's drawings too! And their memory develops even more this time as they remember stories you have previously told them and can even retell them!

    At this age being on the watch for babies is really important as they may end up in places they shoudn't be. They are able to open doors by turning knobs. Be careful with what they eat because they can remove wrappings from gum, candy etc.. and they will climb anywhere. ANYWHERE.

    Babies like to be more active at this point. They want to be busy and usually don't sit down. They will be able to walk really fast or run up the stairs but once they want to come down they will walk step by step. They can also walk on their tiptoes.

    Babies will remember and follow 3 step commands. They will recognize themselves in photographs and they can stack rings together!
