The Anti-Apartheid system started because, people in England had overheard about the segregation movement happening over in South Africa. So they decided that, that wasn’t fair. You shouldn’t be judged by your skin color. So, they stood up and said something about it.

What had happened during the Apartheid was very rude and racial. During this time people were begin separated only because, of their skin color. They would have to go to different school, drink from separate water fountains, and even get in trouble for doing nothing.

The Apartheid had ended in 1997. That year was a year to celebrate. All the African Americans were set free from the horrid trap that they had been stuck in for years now.

Nelson Mandela was a great man, he had saved, and helped thousands of people. But, sadly begin born on July 18th, 1918, he died on December 5th, 2013. He will always be remembered, and never forgotten.
