    Isolated

Many Jews were being isolated from their Christian neighbors. In a significant amount of countries Jews were being confined into the ghettos.
  • Ideas

As the walls of the ghetto were coming to an end new ideas were emerging and old myths and misinformation were being reborn. The idea that was beginning to emerge was the idea of race.
  • Race

As the word race was coming up people often referred to it as the people who shared nationality or who were related to another in any form or way. Scientists often used this term to refer to those who shared heritage. Many people even believed that race explained all cultural differences that were observed in the world. At the top of these races were the Aryans who were mythical people that had left India in the past and who had carried its language and culture west.
  • Distorted

Race had began to become less enthusiastic in which too many people viewed the world. Racism also began to become respectable, but attacks against Jews and other minorities were intensified. These attacks are most present in times of stress and uncertainty such as the worldwide depression.
  • Jews

Jews made up one percent of the population and two-hundred-fifty Germans held the prominent government posts between the years of 1919 and 1933, only four of these people were Jews. Rumors of the Germans being dominated by the Jews soon started to be generated by groups such as Adolf Hitler's National Socialist. or his Nazi Party.
  • Worldwide Depression

The Worldwide Depression began in the late 1920's and early 1930's. This was also during the time when people had racial enemies who could be blamed for society's problems and who could answer complex problems.
  • Holocaust

This was when Adolf Hitler was in reign and was leading his followers to murder about one-third of the Jews. Jews who were young, old and alike were all murdered because of the ancestry they had came from.
  • Citizenship and Crimes

Hitler had announced three new laws that had stripped the Jews of their citizenship and had made it a crime for Christians to have any contact with the Jews whatsoever.
  • Nations

Hitler had turned his attention to going after neighboring countries. During the year of 1940 that is when Hitler had ruled most of Eastern and Western Europe. Jews were now being identified as isolated, and singled out for murder.
  • Termination Equals Death

Many of the European Jews were being killed or sent to Death Camps. During this time there was only one large group who was still alive and that group was known as the Jews of Hungary. This group was able to stay safe because Hungary was an ally of Germany rather than conquered nations. As an allay of Germany Hungary had its own Jewish-laws. Miklos Horthy and and the nation's of other leaders were not willing to kill or expel Hungarian Jews.
  • Night

This was in between the time span of when Hitler was in reign and was also when the Holocaust came into place which is also known as the term "complete destruction by fire".
