    The Trans Atlantic Slave Trade is when people traded slaves. It took place acroos the atlanic ocean from the 16th century to 19 century. North america only traded 5% of all known voyages. Only 4% of all slaves were from africa. The last country to ban the atlatic slave trade was brazil in 1831.
