    Cotten gin helps The South. It helped slaves remove the things that were in the cotten.

    The telegraph was invented in 1809 by a man named Samuel Soemmering. This invention helped and benifited both south and north. It provided easy comunication.

    The migration was from 1816-1819. The populations of the contries grew from 450 to almost 4,000. The people broght lots of disesses.

    Woman would have limits and could not really do anything. They would teach there children and would have to stay at home.

    The Fugitive Slave Act was amended and the slave trade in Washington D.C. was abolished. Five laws passed in September of 1850 that dealt with slavery. It impacted the South because they owned more slaves due to all of the crops the south had.
