In 1832, Jackson vetoed the renewal of The US Bank's charter declaring war on the Bank, which he thought was trying to kill him. Jackson decided to kill it first by withdrawing all deposits and putting them in smaller state banks. -

After The War on the Bank in 1832 Jackson sent he nation into a panic. This caused a major depression in which many people lost their jobs. -
Trail of Tears
In 1838 the US sent the Cherokee west to Oklahoma on what is known as the Trail of Tears, which many Cherokee died.
