Battle of New Orleans
The Battle of New Orleans was a battle almost ending the War of 1812. Because news crossed very slow they still fought this battle even though the British and the Americans had already signed a treaty ending the war. The victory went to us and Andrew Jackson, the war hero, gained political support. -
