Jackson was born on March 15, 1767 in the Warhawks region between North and South Carolina. He bacame a national war hero after he beat the British in New Orleans during the war of 1812. He died on June 8, 1845.

Jackson won the popular vote but nobody won the electoral vote. The House of Representatives had to break the tie for Jackson VS. John Quincy Adams. Adams ended up winning the election.

All starte out by the state of South Carolina creating the Ordinance of Nullification in 1832. This was unconstitutional.

The Bank War was from 1833-1836 (The start day is unknown). Federalist Alexander Hamilton created the bank and its purpose was to regulate economic policies. Jackson disliked the bank because he thought it as too powerful. Later, when its charter was up for renewal, Jackson vetoed (refusal of permission) the Bank.
