    Andrew Jackson was enlisted into the war by James Monroe to lead a campaign on Georgia against the Semnole Indians.

    This battle was of the Americans allied by Cheerokees against the Indian tripe known as the Creeks,and was a crushing victory for Andrew Jackson. At the end of the battle,the Creek's leader had walked into Jackson's capm and surrendered.

With this,John Quincy Adams could not get the advantage. When Jackson won,he used a "Spoils system" and fired all the federalists that were in a relationship to Adams.

Southerners had also called this tariff the "Tariff of Abominations". Henry Clay ended this conflict with a compromise of lower tariffs.
