  • His Birth Part 1

    Born in 1767 at Waxhaw, South Carolina, during the Revolutionary war. His dad died 3 weeks before he was born. At age 13, Andrew and his brothers joined the Revolutionary War to help fight the British. His oldest brother, Hugh died of a heat stroke, and Andrew and his other brother were captured by the british. His mother presuaded the british to release them. Andrew's brother and his mother took a horse back home which was a 45 mile walk, and Andrew walked back home barefoot with no jacket.

  • His Birth Part 2

    Soon enough his mother left the house to cure and aid the sick and injured that were fighting in the war. She soon enough caught cholera and died. Robert (Andrew's brother) died after 2 days at home right after they were released. He died of smallpox.
  • Age 17

    Andrew Jackson decides to become an attorney. He moved to Salisbury, North Carolina to study law by apprenticing with lawyers. After 3 years in studing, he obtained his license to practice law in several counties. While living in North Carolina, he built up his reputation from being charismatic, wild, and ambitious. He loved to dance, entertain, gamble, and spend his free time with friends in taverns.
  • General Jackson

    He returns to Tennesse where he is greeted like a hero for defeated the Creeks and also providing future protection by building military roads and forts. Despite his lack of military training, the administrator knew that in Jackson, they had a man who could stand out in the field and complete what others couldn't. In Augest, he met up with the Creeks and forced them to give up nearly 23 million acres of their land and move to another area that was more easier to patrol.
  • The Talk of Presidency

    From 1812 to 1821, Jackson's military career made him a hero and brought him a lot more money and opportunites. Since the time he secured the southern lands, acquired million of acres of land, and gave Americans a newfound confidence that began in expansion in agriculture and manufacturing. Soon enough, the countrymen would mention him as a candidate for the President of the United States.
  • A new Senate

    The Tennesse Legislature has nominated Andrew Jackson as a condidate for President of the United States. In test of Jacksons's political strength, he was nominated and elected as a U.S. Senator from Tennessee. Later in the job as a senate, he made friends and political allies.
  • Win by a great loss

    Andrew Jackson was soon married to a girl named Rachel. On December 22, 1828, she had collapsed and died from a heart attack. Grief struck Jackson has he buried Rachel two days later. A month later he left The Hermitage for Washington to assume the nation's highest office.
  • Retirement and Death

    On March 4, 1837, Andrew Jackson has retired from public office. Andrew Jackson's health was never good, it even became worse in his final years. He had constant infenctions, gastro-intestinal problems, pain, eye and ear troubles, and fliud build-up made him miserable. He constitly predicteed his own death, but has not gave up on life. until June 8, 1845, he was found dead in his bedroom at the Hermitage.
