    Lasting for almost a month and a half, the Elction of 1824 was the tenth presidential election and was between Andrew Jackson, John Quincy Adams, Henry Clay, and William Crawford. Jackson won the high vote, but there needed to be a tie breaker between Jackson and Quincy Adams. Henry Clay was the voter to break the tie. Jackson called this a corrupt bargain because he thought Henry convinced the congress to vote for Adams. Even though he thought this, Jackson won by a landslide.

We forced them to move to give us more power and to have more legal citizens in Georgia. This was also know as the Trial of Tears because while the indians were moving many of them died during the move.

    Worcester v. Georgia was a conflict about Georgia wanting to move the Indians away, but in the end the Supreme Court said that it was unconstitutional to force the Indians out of the state.

    The Nullification Crisis was a time during jacksons presidency and was a confrontation between South Calolina and the Fedeal Government. The government placed a tax on the south that the southerners did not aggre with. South Carolina declared the tariff illegal and passed the Nullification Act.
