Election of 1824
The election of 1824, otherwise known as the "corrupt bargain", had four candidates: Jackson, Adams, Clay, and Crawford. Jackson won the popular vote, but nobody won the electoral vote. Henry clay dropped out, then convinced the House of Representitives to vote for Adams. Adams won and made Clay secretary of state. Jackson, of course, was mad. -

John Quincy Adams and Andrew Jackson ran for president again, Both partys were mudslinging (accusing of bad things). Jackson won and begun his presidancy -
Indian removal act
The Indian Removal act removed all indians from georgia, and made them travel west to new land. Many Indians died on the journey, and so the path was henceforth dubbed the "trail of tears". -
Worcester vs. Georgia
Worcester, a friend of the Cherokees, went to court against Georgia to protect their rights as a nation. The Cherokees eventually lost, and the US army was forced to make the Indians follow the trail of tears. -
Nullification crisis
The nullification crisis was in response to the "abomination" tariff. South Carolina nullified the act, and then threatened to secede if it was not removed. They did this because the tariff, while helping the northern economy, was hurting the southern economy. Jackson did not remove the tariff, but he made it less harmful to the south. -
Bank war
The bank war was a struggle to end the second bank of the united states. Jackson wouldn't sign the charter, so the bank was forced to close
