Indian Removal Act
The Indian Removal Act stated that all native tribes east of the mississippi had to leave, or they would be kicked out. This led to the trail of tears where many indians died on the way to reserves set in Oklahoma. This was very controversial. -
Worcester v. Georgia
Samuel Worcester was a missionary for native cherokee tribes who was influential to the tribes to resist the removal act. He was later tried against the state of Georgia and was eventually removed from the state.
