Andrew Jackson was born on March 15th, 1767 in Waxhaws, a gerophical area in between North and South Carolina. His parents were Andrew Jackson and Elizabeth Jackson. Andrew had two brothers, Robert and Hugh. -

Jackson was as hardcore as you can be so the army was perfect for him. He was a very succesful he did what he wanted when he wanted. He almost succeded on kicking out Indians out of southern states. -
Battle Horseshoe Bend
The Battle of Horseshoe Bend was between the US, Muscoge and Cherokee. It took place on March 23, 1814, American and its allies charged the Red Sticks. The Red Sticks oppesed American expansions witch is the reason General Jackson attacked in the first place. -
Battle of New Orleans
The Battle of New Orleans is when Great Britin decided to launch a three pronged imvasion on the US. American forces held back two attacks at Baltimore and Plattsburgh. This is when Britin decided to attack New Orleans. Andrew Jackson rushed to defend the port. -

This was the first election that no candidate ran as a federalist all 5 candidates competed as democratic republicans. William H. Crawford was to replace Monroe. The el etiology was very close and it surprised many people since Andrew Jackson won. John Quincy Adams came up second. The Nullification Crisis was a protective tax placed on goods. This tax cause the econmy in the south to stalled. Since farmer depended on trade with France. This cause South Carolina to secade. -

This election was a rematch of John Adams and Andrew Jackson. Andrew Jacksom had very good organization everyone wanted Andrew Jackson to win there were many posters. Andrew Jackson won by a landslide he beat John Quincy Adams for the presidential chair. -

The indiam removal act was when Andrew Jackson wished that the Indians in Flordia would leave so that Flordia could expand.This i when the Indian removal act came into play. This made all indian tribes in Flordia reloacate to West of the Mississippi River. Due to the harsh envoriments that the tribes had to go throught the trail was renamed the Trail of Tears becuase many Indians died on that trail. -
Worcester V.S. Georgia
This case was over rights for Indians. Georgia wanted to get rid of all of Indians from their lands and the Indians did not like that one bit. The court ruled that the states didn't have the right to mess with Indian affairs. -
Bank War
Andrew Jackson did not like the National Bank he thought it was to powerful so he wanted to kill the banks. The Jacksonians followed Andrew Jackson all the way. Jackson succede but a while later the Bank opened up again.
