    The Battle of New Orleans was the final battle of the war of 1812. Andrew Jackson, he Major General at the time, Fought the British after the war had been called off by the Treaty of Ghent. Andrew Jackson fought the British militia until the Americans had caused the British to retreat form Louisiana. This battle was a significant victory and Morale-booster for the Americans

    The Election of 1824, otherwise known as "The Corrupt Bargain," was between John Q. Adams, Henry Clay, William H. Crawford, and Andrew Jackson. The election was called the "Corrupt Bargain" because John Q. Adams supposedly cheated his way into the presidnency.
