    John Quincy Adams won the election of 1824, and Andrew Jackson thought it was a "corrupt bargain", because he thought that henry clay(speaker of the house) teamed up with Jojn Quincy adams and won it for him.

    After losing the election of 1824, Jackson ran again , but this time he won by a landslide, and became president

    the Indian Removal Act was law that allowed the federal government to pay Native Americans to move west, to the new Indian Territory that is now present day Olklaholma. The Natives had to be gone by 1838, which they wer'ent, so the army had to come in and move them

    Worcester VS. Georgia
    Georgia wanted Indians off of their land, but the Natives believed that it was their land, so they sued the state. Chief justice John Marshall ruled that Georgia had no right to interfere with the cherokee, but Andrew Jackson Believed otherwise, so he challenged Marshall to enforce it, leading to the Trail of Tears.

    In July, 1832, the National Bank recharter bill came up. Andrew Jackson strongly disliked the national bank, because it was too strong and unconstitutional. He told his vice president, Martin Van Buren that he would kill it, and when he got the chance he did, by vetoing it.

    Because of the high tarriffs on goods, farmers were angry, and eventually Carolina threatned to secede from the U.S, if the tarriff was not taken away. Andrew Jackson had to team up with his old enemy, Henry Clay, and come up with a comprimise.
