    This event is where the British invoked a law that says that the Colonists can't cross the line into new territory that they won at war.

    The Stamp Act was made for the British to earn money after they were done with the war. This act caused the Colonists to pay a lot of money on any items with a stamp on it.

    The Green Mountain Boys were a Patriot Militia that helped the Colonists win many battles. They were led by someone named Ethan Allen
  • The Boston Massacre

    The Boston Massacre

    This was an event where Colonists and British blame each other for the acts that happened. During the Boston Massacre the Colonists were throwing ice, snow and calling them names. Then someone yelled fire and the British shot multiple Colonists.

    This Act was enforced by Britain. This act caused the colonists to have to pay a lot of money just to get tea.

    This was a rebellion that the Sons and Daughters of Liberty did against the Tea Tax. What happened during the "Tea Party" was the Colonists throwing all of the imported tea into the ocean.

    4 laws that the British made that broke down the rights of the colonists. These acts make the colonists want to rebel with some of their freedoms being stripped away.

    There was an american spy (Paul Revere) who warned the colonists that there were British coming to get the weapons and ammunition. Then during the night there was a shot that no one knew who shot which was considered the shot heard around the world. There were many deaths and injuries.

    This battle is when the colonists were making a fort on Breed's hill and the British charged at them. The British had greater loss than the colonists and over 1000 casualties.

    George Washington and his troops crossed the Delaware River. Then during the morning on December 26, 1776 they ambushed the British and won the battle.

    This event was the climax of the war. The Americans defeated the British during this battle.

    This place was an area that the Colonists went to train. They had to go through a painful winter with bloody feet and little food. After they trained the British were so scared they left Philadelphia.

    There were many battles during this such as Camden and Yorktown. The war in the south battles led to the Treaty of Paris because of battles such as Yorktown.

    Battle of Yorktown

    This battle was the end of the war where General Washington defeated Cornwalis at Yorktown. Shortly after this battle the Colonists signed the Treaty of Paris that made them an independent country.
