    The British troops marched from Boston to Lexington. They were after the patriot supplies that where hidden in concord. They were faced by the minute men who were there to defend the supplies. At first, the British took control, but then the minutemen fought back and pushed the british all the way back to boston.

    The Patriots attacked the British in Princeton on their advance against the British troops. The Patriots won and took 300 prisoners.

    The Patriot fought back the British troops at Saratoga Springs. This was a turning point in the war because before then everyone thought that the patriots were a lost cause, but then everyone thought the patriots had a fighting chance.

    The Patriots caught up with the retreating British in monmouth New Jersey. The battle was important because it weakended the British before they got to New York.

    The Patriots trapped the British at Yorktown. With help from the French the Patriots won. This Battle was important because it ended the war and earned the patriots independence.
