    The stamp act was a law passed by the British parliament that imposed a tax on everyday things like playing cards, papers, and etc. This angered the colonies influencing them to be against Britain. They boycotted and protested British items after that.

    They were laws that put a tax on people importing things to and in the colonies. This became another reason why the colonists started to dislike britain.

    This happened when British soldiers fired into a group of colonists that were attacking them. This killed three colonists and hurt two. This event would get publicized and encourage the colonies to go against Britain.
