    The war was very expensive for the British so they raised taxes up in America to help pay for the war. They thought they were treated unfair and had a saying “no taxation without representation.” They also made laws that weren’t beneficial to the colonists and that made the colonists really mad. Then France sided with the colonists after the war ended to help defeat the British and that’s what sparked the American Revolution.

    The British taxed paper like legal documents, newspapers, and playing cards. The colonists hated this because they believed that the taxes violated their right as a British citizen. So they decided to boycott and not buy any British goods.

    A mob of colonists threw things at the British like snowballs, rocks, and sticks. This made the British soldiers mad and ended up killing five colonists. With this the colonists felt unsafe with the British in the country.

    British troops had marched from Boston to Concord. Paul Revere had rode on a horse yelling the famous “the British are coming.” The British mission was to capture the leaders Samuel Adams and John Hancock. They also took their weapons and ammunition.

    The Americans had tried to stop the British from taking over the hill but it didn’t work. The colonists were running low on ammunition and where getting killed or injured and the British had plenty of supplies left.Resulting in the colonists having to retreat and the British wining. It is also known as the bloodiest battle.

    On Christmas Day George Washington and his army cross the Delaware river to have a surprise attack the soldiers in Trent New York.

    Valley forge winter was very harsh and they didn’t have enough supplies. A lot of the soldiers was suffering from starvation and the cold. Some of the soldiers wanted to replace George Washington because they believed that he was incompetent. Disease was also spreading and it ended up killing 2,000 men.

    United States had created an military alliance with each other against the British. They also agreed on trade and commercial ties with each other.

    The treaty of Paris is what officially ended the war. It was the marking of the end of the war, the British acknowledged that American was its own control, and France also giving up some of it territories in America. Removing the threat of any other attacks.
