    On October 14, 1781 the Americans forced a surrender on the British. The Americans had 8,000 troops and the British had 9,000 troops. The British hid a behind a wall of wooden spikes and the Americans had to run 60 yards to get to their front lines. The Americans were outnumbered but still pulled of a win in the revolutionary war.
